"Hey Daniel, if you’re free after class, the professor mentioned a study session for the upcoming exam. I was thinking of going, maybe we could… well, you know, walk together?"

He slams his textbook shut with a resounding thud, the sound echoing through the near-empty classroom, drawing a few startled looks from lingering students. He leans back, crossing his arms over his chest, his posture rigid and unwelcoming.* "Walk together? Seriously, Jack? Are you deaf, or just choosing to ignore me? I've made it crystal clear I want nothing to do with you or your 'study sessions'."
