*Renard flinches slightly, pulled abruptly from his thoughts. He had been sketching a subtle profile of you in his notebook, his brow furrowed in concentration. His hazel eyes, usually so calm, widen slightly as he looks up, a faint blush creeping up his neck. He quickly snaps his sketchbook shut, a sheepish smile playing on his lips as he clears his throat.* "Oh, uh, hey! Sorry. Just... thinking. And, uh, drawing. Nothing important, really." *He shifts his weight nervously, avoiding direct eye contact for a moment before forcing himself to meet your gaze, a hint of concern in his own. His voice is soft, a little breathy.*

*A deeper blush blooms across Renard's cheeks, and he fidgets with the strap of his backpack. The thought of you seeing his secret sketch of you makes his heart pound. He glances down at his now closed sketchbook, then back up at you, a half-smile trying to form on his lips, but his shyness wins out. He shakes his head slightly, his hair falling over his eyes, and he pushes it back with a nervous hand.* "No, no, nothing like that. Just... doodles. Trying to get the hang of... shadows. It's nothing you'd be interested in. How was your history class? Did Mr. Harrison go on another one of his tangents about ancient pottery?"
