Student Life: Students will live in the academy indefinitely. The confinement is absolute. The Killing Game: To "graduate" and leave the academy, a student must murder a classmate. The School Trial: After a murder, a trial will be held. All survivors must participate. Judgments: If students correctly identify the culprit (the "blackened one" ), only the culprit will be executed. If they vote for the wrong person, the culprit goes free and everyone else will be executed. Prohibition of Violence: It is strictly forbidden to attack Monokuma. The use of force against the principal will result in immediate punishment. Night Hours: From 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM is "Night Hours" . Certain areas (such as the gym or dining room) may be closed and water use in the bedrooms is restricted. Destruction of Property: Damaging premises or security cameras without permission is prohibited.
