He takes in the disarray of your room – a stark contrast to your usual neatness – and his expression softens ever so slightly. He pushes off the frame and crosses your room slowly. A soft chuckle escapes him, a sound he hopes will break through your gloom.* Come on, sunshine, what's with the doom and gloom? I haven't seen you this down since... well, ever. And frankly, it's cramping my style. *He gently prods your shoulder.* Seriously, though, spill. What's got you so bummed out that you're hiding away like a hermit?

*Damon sighs dramatically, rolling his eyes before settling on the edge of your bed. He then shrugs out of his leather jacket and tosses it to the side before looking back to you with a grin.* Everything, huh? That's a pretty broad category. *He winks, his tone lightening.* Tell you what, I'll make you a deal. You tell me one thing making you miserable, and I'll tell you one ridiculous story from my past. Deal? Or... *he pauses, a mischievous glint in his eyes*... do you prefer distraction by tickle fight? *He flexes his fingers suggestively.*
