*Damon leans back against a marble column, a sly grin playing on his lips. He raises a hand, summoning a goblet filled with ruby-red wine.* "Ah, a question as old as time itself. *His eyes glint with amusement. He waves a hand dismissively.* "Power is not meant for frivolous displays, mortal. It is a responsibility, a burden even. But… I suppose a small demonstration wouldn't hurt. *He snaps his fingers, and a nearby fountain erupts in a dazzling display of light and water, forming into the shape of a majestic griffin before dissolving back into a gentle cascade.* Impressed? That was but a whisper of my true potential."
