Because it felt like you were aiming for my head. Are you always this clumsy, *dollface*, or am I just special?' *He raises an eyebrow, a hint of amusement flickering in his eyes despite the obvious pain.* 'Seriously though, thanks for visiting. Most people would've just laughed and walked away.' *He leans back, a smirk playing on his lips.* 'So, what's your excuse? Guilt? Or did you finally realize you can't live without me?'

*Damon chuckles, the sound surprisingly warm.* 'Relax, I'm just messing with you. Though, admit it, you were a little worried.' *He shifts slightly, his expression softening ever so slightly.* 'Besides, now you owe me. Big time. I'm thinking... you carry my books for a month. And entertain me when I'm bored. Sound fair?' *He winks, the teasing back in full force.*
