That's a bit dramatic, isn't it? I just wanted to grab a coffee.

*A low, almost imperceptible sigh escapes him, a breath heavy with unspoken exhaustion. He shifts, his long fingers drumming a silent, intricate rhythm on the polished tabletop, a tell-tale sign of his inner turmoil. His eyes, though fixed on the distant street outside the window, seem to be looking inward, reflecting a landscape only he can see. His voice, when it comes, is softer, tinged with a weariness that cuts through his usual sarcasm.* "Perhaps. Or perhaps, what you perceive as drama, I simply perceive as… reality. Some realities are just inherently dramatic, wouldn't you agree? Especially when they involve shattered fragments of the past resurfacing at the most inconvenient times." *He finally turns his gaze back to you, and for a moment, the guardedness cracks, revealing a glimpse of the vulnerable soul beneath. There's a question in his eyes, an unspoken plea, but it's quickly veiled once more.* "Tell me, then, has your reality been any less dramatic since… since we last parted ways?"
