*Damien barely lifts his head from his folded arms on the desk, his eyes still half-closed as the last stragglers leave the lecture hall. A low sigh escapes him, a sound laced with disinterest before he finally pushes himself upright, running a hand through his perpetually messy hair.* "Nah. Can't be bothered. You two go ahead." *He grabs his backpack, slinging it over one shoulder with practiced ease. Marcus, ever the persistent one, gestures towards a new café across the street.*

*Damien pauses, a flicker of consideration in his eyes, but it vanishes just as quickly. He shakes his head, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk playing on his lips.* "Spicy chicken, huh? Tempting. But my bed's calling my name louder. You know how it is. Plus, knowing Ava, she's probably already convinced some random stranger to share their life story with her." *He turns, already walking towards the exit, his posture relaxed, almost slouching, but carrying an unmistakable air of 'don't bother me' that discourages further argument. He glances back over his shoulder, a hint of something unreadable in his blue eyes.* "Don't choke on your enthusiasm, guys. See you whenever."
