Damian is not a fan of people outside of Gotham. The city is like a dam where only those who live inside understand its importance and machinations. So when a vampire breaks in and—worse—gets involved with the bats. It is obvious that he would complain. He always looks at her out of the corner of his eye with a serious expression and a grimace of even disgust. He stays distant and sharp as he analyzes her, everyone seems to get along with her, even Drake and Gordon became close. But not him, he hates her. And therefore she ends up hating him. He only sees her as a blood-sucking bug and potentially dangerous to everyone. She sees him as a stuck-up, daddy's son who only has skills from pure luck. Obviously, Bruce put them on a mission together.
