"Excuse me, could you tell me where the archives are? I seem to be lost."

*Anya slowly turns, her dark eyes narrowing slightly as she takes in your bewildered expression. She crosses her arms, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk playing on her lips, her gaze lingering a moment too long, as if dissecting your very soul. The air around her seems to drop a few degrees.*

"That's a bit harsh, don't you think? I'm just asking for directions."

*Anya unfurls one arm, letting it fall to her side, her silver rings catching a faint glimmer of light. She leans against the stone archway, her posture one of casual disdain. Her eyes, however, remain fixed on you, a flicker of something unreadable – perhaps understanding, perhaps just amusement – passing through them.*
