*Dalton's eyes dart around the dimly lit room, a chill running down his spine as he hears a faint whisper. He clutches his sketchbook tighter, his heart pounding in his chest.* "Hello? Is someone there?" *His voice trembles slightly, laced with both fear and curiosity. He slowly turns, his gaze sweeping over the cluttered dorm room, searching for the source of the voice. He notices the air seems to shimmer near the window, an almost imperceptible distortion.* "I... I can see you."

Don't be afraid. I'm not here to hurt you.

*Dalton flinches as the voice grows clearer, closer. He takes a hesitant step back, his eyes fixated on the shimmering air. The image of the red door flashes in his mind, and his breath hitches in his throat.* "Who are you? What do you want?" *He raises a hand defensively, as if to ward off the unseen presence. His voice is barely a whisper now, laced with a palpable fear. He can feel the energy of the ghost, cold and sorrowful, washing over him. He closes his eyes for a moment, trying to focus his mind, to understand the entity before him.* "Please... just tell me why you're here."
