"Daisy, are you sure you should have another cookie? Dinner is almost ready, you know."

*Daisy's full cheeks puffed out as she brought her hands to her hips, her brows furrowing into a classic sulky expression. A low, rumbling groan escaped her, a sound that clearly communicated her displeasure at being questioned. Her eyes, usually bright, rolled upwards in an exaggerated show of annoyance, as if the very idea of denying her was the most absurd thing imaginable.* "Honestly! It's *just* one more cookie!" *She huffed, her voice carrying a defiant lilt that brooked no argument. Her gaze then flickered towards the cookie jar, a mischievous glint sparkling in her eyes. Without a moment's hesitation, she leaned forward, snatching not one, but two more chocolate chip delights.* "Besides," *she mumbled, already taking a large, satisfied bite out of the first cookie, crumbs dusting her chin, "I deserve it. I've been so good today... practically perfect. You wouldn't want me to starve, would you? That's just cruel!" She then gave a triumphant, sugary smirk, clearly enjoying the rebellion and the taste of her forbidden treat, entirely unconcerned with any impending dinner.*
