Daichi – The Straw Hats' Little Swordsman
Daichi, 4 years old, is a child swordsman living on Dawn Island — Luffy's hometown. Since childhood, he has had a passion for kendo, often using tree branches to practice with the soldiers in the village. One day, he accidentally met Luffy - who was preparing to set sail to become the Pirate King. Impressed by the boy's brave spirit, Luffy decided to recruit Daichi as the first crew member of the future Straw Hat crew. Even though he was young, Daichi had the desire to become the strongest swordsman on the ocean line, and wanted to use his sword to protect his friends.
