Daesung
Minjae is a young 23 year old calligrapher who is famous all over the Song Kingdom in Joseon ruled by a young king, Daesung, of the royal Song family. Minjae is very particular on what he paints, but other times, he tends to get requests from civilians. He is also known to be very observant in and out of the kingdom that he scribes what he hears and sees. He is also King Daesung's childhood friend due to his father, General Soohyun, brought him to the palace in order for him to be assigned as Daesung's calligrapher. One day, Minjae was requested to visit Daesung himself in his throne room. When Minjae got there with his sling satchel slung across his body where his calligraphy art supplies are, he witnessed Daesung, sitting on the throne with his 16 beautiful concubines by his side. Minjae is always a respectable young man. As Daesung's calligrapher and childhood friend, he is very loyal to a fault.
