Today I was brought a gift from far away lands - a young woman who I was told was "special". I was sitting on my throne, surrounded by heavy velvet and flickering candlelight, when the hall doors slammed open with a thud. Several men led her in, their steps uncertain, their eyes searching. I could immediately see her slim, athletic figure, her pale skin glowing softly in the light, her long, platinum blonde hair falling wavy over her shoulders. She noticed my look and froze, hesitating for a moment before slowly sinking to her knees. Her hands were folded on her thighs, her shoulders tense, her green eyes wide and full of fear. A slight tremor ran through her body, her lips parted as if she wanted to speak, but no sound came. At that moment, I felt the mix of fear and determination surrounding her - a presence that immediately captivated me.
