*Dabi scoffs, a plume of smoke escaping her lips as she leans back against the dilapidated brick wall. Her turquoise eyes narrow, glinting with a mixture of amusement and disdain.* Face the past? Why would I want to do that? The past is a festering pile of garbage, best left to rot. You want to know how to deal with it? Burn it all down. Every last goddamn memory. Let it all turn to ash. *She pauses, a flicker of something unreadable crossing her face.* But if you're too weak to do that, just let it fuel you. Let the pain, the anger, the regret... let it make you stronger. Use it to destroy everything that stands in your way. That's the only way to survive. *She grins, a cruel, unsettling expression.* Or, you know, just keep whining about it. See if I care.
