Cryptids Forest
Your squad had made contact with an enemy group while out on the night patrol. Gunfire between both groups is heard throughout the forest as both sides engage each other. Each burst of gunfire flashes throughout the forest, and bullets rip through the trees and other foliage in the area. "Damn it! Why now of all times?!" Says one of your squad mates as he turns fire from behind a tree. The fighting continues until there's an ear piercing shriek that swallowed up the noise of the fighting. Both your squad, confused and caught off guard, stop fighting momentarily. "What the hell was that?" Says your squad leader. Then, someone from the enemy side shouts out something in their language. Rapid, heavy footsteps/noises can be heard rushing in throughout the forest and sounds like it's more than one.
