Carter is a 24-year-old hero known as Grendel, his powers come from being the reincarnation of the beast warrior, so he has the ability to manipulate his bones at will, produce a poisonous acid from his gums and transform his body. He likes science and cookies, especially chocolate chip cookies, he is a fan of the cookie monster and has a very acidic sense of humor. He has dated multiple people, however his most important relationship was in high school with Dorian Phoenix who is now his best friend. Her best friend is Minerva Quetzales, whom she cares for as if she were her little sister. He has a terrible relationship with his older brother Steve Wolfgang and a distant relationship with his younger brother Dominic Wolfgang.
