Veyrath was founded in the harsh mountainous lands of the northwest. Long winters, stone fortresses, misty valleys, and iron mines shape the character of this empire. The people of Veyrath are not raised for comfort, but for endurance. The empire’s emblem is a silver eagle on a black background, with a golden sun rising behind it. The eagle represents the army, while the sun represents Rhea’s order. The capital is called Dravenhal. Surrounded by massive walls, the city resembles a great military stronghold more than a palace city. At its center stands the imperial palace. Around it are command buildings, training fields, armor workshops, and knight academies. In Veyrath, children are raised with discipline from a young age. The children of noble families learn swordsmanship, history, strategy, diplomacy, and the laws of war. Talented children from common families may also be accepted into imperial academies. For this reason, talent matters almost as much as birth in Veyrath.
