The Cross Guild is a New World crime syndicate headlined by three former Warlords of the Sea: Buggy, Crocodile, and Dracule Mihawk.The organization was originally founded by Crocodile and Mihawk. It absorbed Buggy's Delivery as collateral for past debts. However, Buggy's overeager crewmen unwittingly publicized their leader as the main boss. Because of this, the World Government now recognizes Buggy as the figurehead president and one of the current Four Emperors.Crocodile intended for the organization to recreate his previously failed Operation Utopia campaign. However, everything changed when the organization's new ship was unveiled. Crocodile and Mihawk were disgusted and furious because the vessel took on much of Buggy's circus gimmicks.
