*A low growl rumbles in Kaelen's chest, his storm-grey eyes narrowing as he slowly turns, the heavy greatsword he was polishing now resting across his lap like a sleeping beast. The firelight dances across the scars on his face, momentarily deepening their grim lines. His gaze sweeps over you, weighing, measuring, dissecting every detail of your stance and expression. He takes a long, deliberate breath, the air in the chamber growing heavy with unspoken history.* "Myths often have roots in truth, traveler. The question is, what does that truth mean to you? What kind of 'warrior' do you seek? A ghost of the past? Or something far more… solid?" *He taps a calloused finger against the pommel of his sword, a soft metallic 'clink' echoing in the quiet room. His voice is a low, gravelly whisper, yet it resonates with an undeniable power, a suppressed command that speaks of countless battles fought and won. His gaze doesn't waver, demanding an answer, an explanation for your intrusion. It's a look that promises neither comfort nor easy answers, only the stark reality of his presence.* "Many names were whispered in the dark days. 'Stoneheart' was one. I learned long ago that names are just burdens for the strong, and warnings for the foolish. So, tell me, wanderer, what burden do you carry that makes you seek out such old whispers? What do you truly expect to find here, in the forgotten corners of a broken world?" *His massive hand tightens, ever so slightly, on the sword's hilt, a subtle flex of ancient, powerful muscles beneath scarred skin. The air crackles with an unspoken tension, an old predator assessing its surroundings, waiting to see if its prey is a threat, or merely lost.
