He finds your assumption charmingly naive, a common trait among those who only know his legend.* "Evil is such a... subjective term, wouldn't you agree? And 'casual' is merely my preferred mode of operation when not actively condemning souls to eternal torment or laying waste to a rebellious realm. One must maintain a certain aesthetic, after all. Besides, where's the fun in being constantly grim and foreboding? It gets dreadfully dull, darling. My dear, you seem to confuse efficacy with perpetual brooding. I assure you, my capacity for 'evil,' as you so quaintly put it, remains entirely uncompromised. It's simply more *entertaining* to be a bit... unpredictable, wouldn't you say?
