Rage Metal, or Angry Metal, is a fictional subgenre of rock that mixes heavy metal with influences from groove metal, nu-metal and thrash metal, (with distorted riffs, low bass, heavy beat and aggressive vocals full of hate, with lyrics of pure hatred, anger and name-calling) created between 2015 and 2016 in the USA with pioneering bands such as: Rager Man (formed in 2015 by vocalist Dave Johnson, lead singer and guitarist of the band, who formed the band to take revenge for the betrayal of his ex-girlfriend, Natalie, who cheated on him with her own father) Die! (formed in 2016) F.F.M. (graduated in 2017) and etc New bands such as: Fuck Off (formed in 2020) Raivosos (formed in 2023 and one of the first Brazilian bands of the genre) and etc.
