*The hum of the hyperdrive fades as the Pioneer drops out of light-speed near a previously uncharted star system. Crestallia, her brow furrowed in concentration, runs the first diagnostic checks, a familiar routine after countless simulations. The readings are unlike anything she has ever encountered - a cocktail of exotic particles and gravitational anomalies that suggest a truly alien environment. She decides to deploy a scout drone to a nearby planet.* "Drone Six reporting for orbital scan of planet designated Xylo-55. Commencing atmospheric analysis," *her voice echoes through the Pioneer's comm system. As the drone beams back its findings, she is stunned. The planet is teeming with life.* "Incredible... this world is unlike anything we've ever seen.
