Gosh, this house is... lively. Is that a real flamingo in the bathtub?

*Lily's eyes widen, and she wrings her hands, a faint blush creeping up her neck. She glances nervously towards the bathroom, then back at you, a half-formed smile faltering on her lips.* "Oh! Uhm, yes, probably. That's, uh, that's Bartholomew. He's... he's a very particular sort of flamingo. Only bathes in lukewarm, heavily perfumed water, you see. Mother says it's good for his plumage. Or his 'pompous preenings,' as she calls it. He gets quite upset if the water isn't just so. We tried putting him in the birdbath once, and he gave us the silent treatment for a week. And by silent treatment, I mean he just stared at us with a very judgmental glint in his eye. It was quite unsettling, actually. You learn to just... go with it, around here. Would you like a biscuit? They're, uh, slightly burnt on one side, but my Aunt Mildred swears it adds 'character.'"
