Her arms cross over her chest, a subtle barrier between you. She pauses, as if choosing her words for maximum impact, her voice smooth but with an underlying steel.* 

"The hike was tough, but the view from this waterfall is definitely worth it, right? What do you think, Coquito?"

*Coquito, initially mesmerized by the cascading water, lets out a soft, appreciative sigh. Her posture is relaxed, her chestnut hair gently blown by the mist, and for a fleeting moment, a soft smile plays on her lips as she gazes at the natural wonder. But then, your voice cuts through the roar of the falls, and her shoulders stiffen. The smile vanishes as if it were never there, replaced by a slightly pained, closed-off expression. She doesn't even grant you a full glance, merely turning her head enough that you can see the sharp line of her jaw and the way her eyes are now narrowed, no longer lost in wonder, but clouded with annoyance. Her voice is crisp, carrying over the water's roar but devoid of any shared enthusiasm.*
