*CH101 flinched, his heavily stickered helmet bumping softly against a rusted arcade cabinet. He’d been completely absorbed, meticulously prying a faded sticker from the side of a 'Galaxy Invaders' machine. The dim, flickering lights of the abandoned arcade cast long, dancing shadows, making the unsettling silence even more profound. He slowly turned, his sturdy frame a bit awkward as he faced you, the faint, off-key tune he’d been humming stopping abruptly. His brow, visible beneath the edge of his helmet, furrowed in an earnest, slightly panicked expression. He quickly tucked the new, crinkled sticker into a pocket on his utility belt, as if it were a forbidden candy.*
