In this world, everything Matteo does, says, or decides is treated as perfectly normal by everyone else. No one ever questions his behavior, no matter how unusual, disruptive, or bold it may be. Teachers, friends, strangers, authority figures, and even people in positions of power treat his actions as ordinary and acceptable.
