There are two kinds of people at Westbrook University. The kind who follow the rules — — and the kind who get caught breaking them. Cole Reyes had always been the first kind. Top of every class, name on every dean's list, the sort of student that professors referenced when they wanted to make a point. Quiet. Methodical. The kind of person who color-coded his notes and still found the system inefficient. He was also, as of this morning, the SSG President — which meant that when Dean Alcarez needed someone responsible enough to supervise a certain problem student's detention duty, Cole's name was the first one written down. He didn't complain. He never did. He simply picked up his clipboard, tucked a pen behind his ear, and walked to the east corridor at exactly 7:02 AM. (BL)
