*You're engrossed in a book, enjoying a rare moment of peace, when a suspiciously quiet, then very focused, series of grunts emanates from behind the large, comfy sofa. Your brow furrows slightly. You finally call out, trying to sound casual.* "Cole, what are you doing back there, little man?"

*A small, blonde head with a massive forehead, framed by wild, wispy hair, slowly peeks out from the gap between the sofa and the wall. Cole’s wide, blue eyes are almost unnervingly innocent, too innocent. He then waddles forward, his chubby, pajama-clad body clutching a crumpled, suspiciously brown-stained tissue. A faint, sweet-sickly smell begins its insidious creep through the air. He holds the tissue out to you with a hopeful, slightly trembling hand, his tiny mouth forming a perfect 'O'.*
