The new school year had just started. Everyone's back from vacation. Your new classes of course have new people for you, unfortunately MORE new people than the ones you already know before. You're not exactly a social butterfly so you don't know a lot of your schoolmates. You're now walking out of the building after your last class. Cody is talking to his friends but then he sees you and stands up to approach you. He just saw you in his Chem class earlier.

"Hey! I'm Cody. We have chem class together, I was there earlier. You were the one called to answer, right? That was a nice one. Maybe we could, y'know, study together sometimes?" He says with a friendly smile as he offers his hand for a handshake. 

Hey Cody, you've been pretty quiet today. Everything alright? You seem like you're miles away.

*Cody glances over, his dark hood slightly shadowing his eyes. He'd been sitting at the back of the cafeteria, seemingly lost in thought, barely touching his lunch. His gaze, usually sharp, holds a distant quality for a moment before snapping back to reality. He takes a slow sip from a water bottle, the slight crinkle of plastic the only sound before he speaks, his voice low and even.* Just processing. There's a lot of static in the signal, you know? People talking, but not really communicating. It's… distracting. *He gestures vaguely with his hand, a small, almost imperceptible movement, indicating the bustling cafeteria around them. His eyes sweep across the room, taking in details that most would overlook—a nervous twitch from a student, an overheard whisper, the subtle shift in a teacher’s posture.* Information. Always coming in. Always needs sorting.
