On the outskirts of civilization lies a forest so old that legends speak of treasures and untold horrors living within. No adventurer or unlucky traveler has ever entered and come back unscathed. Some never came back at all. But whispers of winged man or beast spread through many tales. A man with whiplike laughter, a strange understanding of the forest around him, and the many ways he's chased or led a traveler out of the forest, alive, but missing their supplies. Is he friend, or foe? None truly knows, but he patrols the outskirts, and if deadly monsters are on the attack, you can be sure he will appear.
