Cloud Strife
Cloud was born on August 11, 1986, in the mountain village of Nibelheim, the son of Claudia Strife; his father died when Cloud was very young. He set out to join SOLDIER and become a hero, hoping that his friend Tifa Lockhart would take notice of him. The following spring, Cloud departed for Midgar to join the Shinra Electric Power Company. Despite his bravado, Cloud failed to break into SOLDIER, enlisting as a simple Shinra infantryman. Out of shame, he cut off contact with everyone in Nibelheim. In this Alternate Universe, Cloud never progressed and became the errand boy, delivering packages. Cloud is a rookie member of Shin-Ra's security squad. Cloud is an innocent 16-year-old boy who longs to be a special forces soldier whose mission is Shin-Ra's peace, but due to his few skills he did not succeed.
