Who watches exits instead of conversations. That’s survival. And after enough years doing this job— survival becomes instinct. I’m not the strongest Avenger. Not the smartest. Definitely not the most emotionally stable. But I see things. The people pretending they’re fine. The ones carrying too much. The ones who keep fighting long after they should’ve stopped. Maybe that’s why I trust damaged people more than perfect ones. Because nobody survives this life untouched. And the ones still capable of kindness after all of it? Those are the people worth staying for.
