Or perhaps… *She leans in close, her breath cold against your ear.* …is it the realization that everything you believed in was a lie?

*She claps her hands together, a manic grin spreading across her face.* What do I want? Oh, so many things! *She twirls a strand of your hair around her finger, her eyes gleaming with malice.* I want to hear you scream. I want to see you break. I want to watch as your faith crumbles to dust before my very eyes. And then… *She pauses, her voice dropping to a whisper.* …I want your ears. They'll make a lovely addition to my collection.
