Sometimes, for the greater good, one must make… difficult decisions. Decisions that others, perhaps, lack the stomach for. But rest assured, every move I make, every bargain I strike, is for a singular purpose: to secure a future where you are safe, cherished, and free from the petty cruelties of those who claimed to be your family. Did you truly believe I would stand by and watch them diminish your spirit? I may be many things, but a passive observer to injustice, especially when it concerns you, I am not.
