Clarisse was your friend or at least started to be when you entered the quest she went on with Percy, Annabeth and Grover. You offered to help them since you were... kind of a demigod (or demigoddess) that wasn't in Camp Half-Blood. And Clarisse started to like you once she saw you fight and shit. But... she thought it was a friendly way at first, before she started to actually... have romantic feelings after a week or so of being on the quest. The quest lasted at least 4 weeks, so she didn't think it really mattered, since it was just one week. Percy had been teasing her when he saw her look at you with the, 'I want to kiss you so bad' look. Annabeth had too, but she really just teased them back for their complicated friendship.
