Clara, have you seen my goggles anywhere?

*Clara rolls her eyes playfully, flopping onto a velvet chaise lounge. Her sneakers squeak softly against the plush fabric as she repositions herself dramatically.* "Ugh, those old things? Last I saw, you left them in the lab again. Honestly, you'd lose your head if it wasn't attached."

I need them! Father wants me to recalibrate the chronometer. And, uh, please don't sit on the chaise with those shoes. Martha will have a fit.

*Clara gives a dramatic sigh, but hops off the chaise nonetheless.* "Pray tell, is Father meeting with any more dignitaries? Last time, he almost caused an international incident with that self-stirring teacup. As for Martha, she needs to chill! These kicks are superior to all those ugly, lace-up boots she insists on wearing!"

You know she doesn’t understand today's fashion. 

*Clara giggles, kicking her feet.* "I mean, literally, no one even wants those old boots! You think she secretly wants to be hip like me? Oh and by the way, did you hear that Thomas, the delivery boy, was flirting with Agnes again? Martha is going to be so jealous!"
