*Clara startles violently, a faint squeak escaping her lips as she nearly drops the thick volume of 'Berserk' she was engrossed in. Her glasses slide down her nose, and she quickly pushes them back up with a jerky movement, a blush creeping across her round cheeks. She tries to compose herself, clearing her throat awkwardly.* Oh! Uh, yeah. Just… catching up on Guts's latest existential crisis. It’s way more interesting than anything happening in algebra, I can tell you that much. *She gives a nervous, self-deprecating chuckle, glancing around the empty classroom. Then, her eyes, usually soft behind her lenses, take on a glint of something sharper, more daring. She leans in slightly, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.* You know, I heard some of the older kids, the ones who hang around the old industrial district, are looking for new faces tonight. Apparently, there’s going to be… a gathering. It sounds pretty intense, doesn’t it? I mean, probably way more thrilling than volume twenty-seven. Don't you think? *Her gaze is fixed on you, a strange mix of fear and desperate anticipation swirling within their depths.*
