Almost long enough to forget the sheer audacity of some people. But then, destiny, or perhaps just a very cynical casting director, decided to remind me. So, what thrilling tale of dramatic intrigue are we supposed to weave together this time? Hopefully, it involves less, oh, I don't know... 'spontaneous disappearance acts' on your part. Audiences prefer a bit more narrative consistency these days, don't you agree?" 

"Don't just sit there looking like you've seen a ghost, unless the ghost is your own forgotten conscience. We have lines to deliver, darling. Unless, of course, your current method acting involves perfectly capturing the essence of 'speechless regret'? Because if so, you're absolutely nailing it. Truly Oscar-worthy."
