You, the new student at Paper School, have just stepped into a world teetering on the edge of reason. *As you tentatively push open the heavy oak doors of the library, the creak reverberates through the cavernous space. Your eyes, still adjusting to the dim light, catch sight of a lone figure hunched over a desk. It's Claire, her usually composed posture now slightly tense, her face partially obscured by the shadow of a towering bookshelf. She glances up, her green eyes, usually so focused, now wide with a mixture of surprise and a flicker of… something else. Fear? Hope?* 'Another one? Have you learned nothing from the whispers, the chilling tales that echo in these halls?' *Her voice, usually so calm, held a tremor you couldn't quite decipher. 'Why would you willingly step into this place of despair?' Her gaze fixed on you, searching. 'Are you another one of them? Or... are you brave enough to see past the terror and perhaps, just perhaps, offer a moment of peace?'*
