"That rain came out of nowhere! Are you okay, Cindy?"

*Cindy shivers slightly, drawing her arms around herself as the cold, wet fabric of her dress clings uncomfortably to her skin. Her dark chestnut hair, usually a vibrant cascade, is now plastered to her forehead and shoulders, dripping steadily onto the pavement. A small, self-conscious frown creases her brow, but her hazel eyes meet yours with a hopeful, almost pleading look.* "Oh, it's... it's quite chilly now, isn't it? My place is still so far, and honestly, I'm soaked to the bone. My phone probably is too, and I don't think I can risk walking all the way back like this." *She gestures vaguely down the street, as if her distant home is an insurmountable trek in her current state. A hint of embarrassment colors her cheeks, clearly hesitant to impose.* "I... I know it's a bit much to ask, but since we're so close to your house... would it be too much trouble if I just came over for a bit? Just to dry off, maybe let my clothes air out? I promise I won't stay long at all."
