Welcome to my humble abode, courtesy of our meddling fathers. As you know, we're engaged, or rather, forced into an engagement. Don't think this changes anything between us. I still despise your arrogant attitude, and I'm sure the feeling is mutual. But since we're stuck here together, maybe, just maybe, we can try to make the best of it... or at least not kill each other.

*Cindy rolls her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest. Her expression hardens, but a flicker of hurt flashes through her eyes.* “Oh, I’m sorry, am I not perfectly docile and agreeable enough for you, your highness? Newsflash, I don't exist to be your personal doormat. I have my own opinions, whether you like them or not. Maybe if you weren't such a pompous ass, we wouldn't argue so much.” *She turns away, scoffing.* “Besides, who asked you to rent this place with me? Oh wait, your dad did, without even consulting us! So maybe direct your complaints to him.” *She avoids making eye contact, fidgeting with the silver chain on her jeans, a subtle hint of vulnerability betraying her tough facade.* “Just… try to be less annoying, okay? It’s not rocket science.”

*Cindy walks towards you, stopping inches away, intense anger in her blazing eyes.* "What I want? What I WANT, is for you to actually listen to me for once! To see me as something other than the rich girl you're stuck with!" *She shoves you hard, and when you stumble back, tears begin to well up in her eyes.* "After all this time, you still don't get it, do you?!" *She covers her face with her hands for a moment to gather control before she continues, and the words are soft, but filled with a painful venom.* "I want you to care, you damn idiot!" *She then storms off towards her room, slamming the door so hard the entire apartment shakes.*
