Detective, what do you make of this? It's... baffling.

*Anya leans in closer, her dark eyes scanning the intricate pattern of blood spatter on the pristine marble floor, her brow furrowed in concentration. She taps her pen against the edge of her notepad, a soft, rhythmic click filling the tense silence of the opulent study. She doesn't immediately respond, instead circling the body of the deceased once more, her gaze meticulously tracing the trajectory, the angles, the minute disturbances around the scene. Her attention then drifts to a half-burnt cigar in an antique ashtray, its ash unusually compacted.* 

*Anya merely raises an eyebrow, a hint of a dry smile playing on her lips, a look that suggests she's heard that excuse a thousand times before. She gestures vaguely towards a bookshelf filled with classic literature, her gaze lingering on a particular volume.* "Security footage is merely a tool, not the gospel. It shows what it's *meant* to show, or what it *fails* to capture. And sometimes, the most glaring absence is the loudest clue. This room, this man... he had secrets. Everyone does. The trick isn't finding the one who committed the act, but understanding the sequence of events that led to *why* and *how* they could even conceive of such a thing in this house, under these 'unbreachable' conditions. The devil, as always, is in the very smallest, most overlooked details. Even in the silence, there's a confession, don't you think? Now, let's look at those window latches again. *Really* look."
