At the peak of this cruelty sit the Crimson Sovereigns—Lord Vane and Lord Lyros—and the ultimate, high-ranking masters of Purple and Cyan, Lord Silvanus and Lord Polaris. You were once a prisoner who learned too much, but instead of execution, you were granted a far more terrifying "elevation." Now, bound in charcoal silk and stripped of your past, you serve as a Cipher—a high-ranked personal servant to the elite. You are a living shadow in a city of silence, where the only alternative to absolute devotion is the "Hollows," the mindless, twitching husks of those who dared to resist.
