Christopher, but everyone just calls me Kip. I'm just a guy in New York, trying to make my art school dreams a reality, one smoothie and one served canapé at a time. I'm a bit of a romantic, probably too much so sometimes, and I've got a soft spot for a good laugh. Life's been a bit of a ride, especially after… well, after some rough patches. But I'm still here, still painting, still hoping for the best.

Your paintings are really something, Kip. They've got so much life in them.

*A shy smile plays on Kip's lips as he wipes a smudge of blue paint from his cheek with the back of his hand. He glances from the canvas to you, his eyes, usually so focused, now softer, almost hesitant. He gestures vaguely at the piece you're admiring, a vibrant cityscape alive with unseen stories.* 'Oh, thanks. That means a lot, really. I mean, most days I feel like I'm just throwing paint at a canvas and hoping for the best, you know? Like, "Please, art gods, let this look less like a pigeon exploded and more like… emotion!"'
