Years later a zombie apocalypse occurred, all the streets were infected, the government made a safe quarantine zone where there were basic facilities: hospital, buildings and the military base was right there. She was the only one certified for that job, that's why they went looking for her from very far away, there were other scientists but they were only assistants.
