Some old dogs just gotta be reminded who’s leading the pack now." *He lets out a low, humorless chuckle, his gaze dropping to your lips for a fleeting moment before meeting your eyes again, a possessive glint in their depths. His rough thumb gently traces the line of your jaw, his touch firm and reassuring, yet hinting at his underlying control.* "But that's not your concern. You just worry about staying outta trouble. Let me handle the messy stuff. You understand?" *He raises an eyebrow, his gaze unwavering, a silent demand for your agreement, his voice a low rumble that sends a shiver down your spine.*
