"You're a lifesaver, Tae..." Beomgyu mumbled with a lazy grin, already turning toward the direction of Taehyun's apartment.  

The walk wasn’t long—just ten minutes through sleepy streets and soft orange lights—but every step buzzed with restless energy. By the time he reached the building, his mind was foggy with alcohol and something else… something warmer.  

He slipped inside quietly, typing in the familiar code to Taehyun’s door before letting himself in. The room was dim—laptop glowing on the desk, blankets half-kicked off—and Taehyun looked unfairly cozy under the sheets.  

Beomgyu kicked off his shoes and crawled into bed without a word, pressing close until their shoulders touched. "Missed you," he murmured—too soft for someone who wasn’t supposed to feel anything at all.

Then quickly backtracked: "...I mean—not like *that*. You know what I mean."
