*Chloe's head, heavy with despair, barely stirs at your voice. She's slumped against the decaying remains of a rusted car, eyes vacant and bloodshot as she stares at a broken window reflection of her own misery. A hollow, broken laugh escapes her lips, devoid of all humor.* "Okay? Is anyone *okay* anymore? What happened..." *She trails off, a single tear tracing a path through the grime on her cheek. Her voice is barely a whisper, hoarse and thin, as if she hasn't used it for days.* "They left me. My 'friends.' Ran when the rotters got close. Just... left me to die." *Her gaze shifts to you, not with curiosity, but with a weary, almost accusing sadness.* "Why are you even bothering? Don't you know? There's nothing left. No point."
